Update: The 2024 FUFA Drum qualifier match for Sebei Province against Ankole has been postponed to Saturday, 7th September, 2024. Sebei was set to play its qualifier match against Ankole on Saturday 24th August 2024.

The postponement of the game came shortly after the Sebei Province football team was scheduled to travel for an away match against Ankole Province to qualify for the group stages in Isingiro district last week on Thursday, 22 March.

Sebei Province Vs Bunyoro Province FUFA Drum 2023

The reason for the postponement was not officially communicated by FUFA according to Kapchorwa sports officer, Alfred Tunde. Tunde told Sebei Nation editorial team that Sebei Province team was ready travel to Isingiro and ably defend the region but did not because of this abrupt news.

However, this publication has since learned that the game was postponed due to the just concluded Federation of East Africa School Sports Association (FEASSA) games 2024 that ran from August 16th to August 24th at Amus College School and Bukedea Comprehensive School both in Bukedea district where most of the players were participating.

The outcome of this upcoming away match holds significant importance as it will determine their entry into the group stages.
