Kapchorwa,Uganda :During Uganda’s 63rd Independence Anniversary celebrations, local artist Sam Kiplangat, popularly known by his stage name Kawempe Productions, hosted a powerful concert titled “Yemungut Chemakwiye Chi” — meaning “God can do what no man can.”
The event attracted hundreds of enthusiastic supporters who gathered to celebrate both Uganda’s independence and the artist’s uplifting message of faith and resilience through music.Kawempe was joined on stage by several talented artists that included; Queen Mercy Barteka,Jimmy Jons,Shabo Ryme,Enock Demachez and many others
Hon. Johana Ngeno Ngong extended his generous support of KES 30,000 (approximately UGX 1 million) towards the concert. He was represented by Mr. Mangusho Martin, the Station Manager of Kapchorwa Trinity Radio (KTR FM 94.1) Sebei Sub-region’s oldest and most listened to radio station.

Taking the stage, Mangusho delivered Honourable Ngeno’s message encouraging artists to remain disciplined and work hard and asked all kalenjins especially those in Uganda to turn up for the upcoming Kalenjin Music Festival and Awards slated for 13th December in Kenya and the Uganda Chapter on 27th December.
In his speech,Mangusho also revealed that KTR FM will be marking its 19th anniversary next year in April, a milestone celebration for the station that continues to inform, entertain and inspire the Sebei community and beyond.
